The role technology should play while on the trip should be used in emergencies or if one wants to call home. It should be limited so it could be like what we had before technology brain washed into thinking we need more of it and that it is an essential need. But, in reality it is not an essential need and is not that important while on the trip. People need to Remember Vacations before social networking, DVD screens in the back of the minivans, and Flip video cameras wrapped around every wrist? Technology has helped people greatly but on the trip we don’t really need it.
I think you were on the right track with this blog. You made some very good points about what is essential and what isn't. I would have love to hear you get into more depth in relating your thoughts to the article. You also need to include a quote when the prompt asks for that.
