1.A polyp is a Coral Larvae what a coral needs to be considered a polyp is agae, zooxanthellae. 2. When the Polyp turns into coral it starts a coral reef the coral is sensitive to the changes in the water climate this is brought on by pollution. 3. When the water becomes too warm the coral starts to dry up and turn into a white color which is called coral bleaching this also happens when the water makes all the corals food die or makes them move away to cooler waters.4. Scientists think coral bleaching is occuring more often because of global warming. 5.And us as people can help reduce coral bleaching by reducing energy, less Pollution, and recycling.
Fish=1500, Hard Coral=360, Soft Coral= 1/3 of the world, Sea Birds=22, Shore Birds= 32. The warming of the ocean is causing coral bleaching with the help of pollution and increaed flooding. By the increased flooding the water becomes polluted and causes the coral to die out. We can help with the coral bleaching problem by not litering in the oceans, usin energy efficent products, and conserving energy and water.
1.Two benfits that this video has is that it relates to little kids and this makes them aware of what is happening to the water. It can also make them aware that they can conserve energy and carpool to save the animals in the ocean. Two draw backs that this video can have is that they can over look everything and make take it too far like they may not want to ever get in a car again or they may want to keep all the lights off to help keep the ocean animals safe.
2. The way these videos would be most bebficial for the Australian Adults is that they can car-pool or walk to work because it would cut down all the pollution. These would be benefical to Foreigners visiting Australia because it would make them be aware of what is happening to the wildlife of the Great Barrier Reef. This would Lastly be benficial to tourists visiting the Great Barrier Reef by making them aware not to litter becasue it is harmful to their environment.
